Ali believes in the power of styling to elevate a house into a personal sanctuary - creating something memorable & extraordinary. For her creating a narrative through the visual & non verbal is about understanding the emotions & needs of the people that live there. A place where every corner tells a unique story of comfort, lives well-lived & timeless elegance.
Her work as a stylist spans more than two decades & has graced the covers of many leading interior magazines, & has included work for leading designers. For Ali it is about creating a visual narrative & energy that evokes an emotional response & changes how people feel about their homes,.
Ali also sources, styles & art directs interior stories for leading interior magazines & newspapers, both in the UK & around the world. Increasingly businesses are commissioning creative content that can be used for their own marketing, social media or PR purposes, & bespoke packages can be created for you. Ali works with a wonderful group of super-talented photographers both in the UK & internationally, which ensures the right person for specific media opportunities.
Interior Design
Ali elevates spaces through thoughtful, intentional design - and believes interiors should tell a story & reflect the lives of those that live there. Enhancing well-being & acting as a catalyst for connectivity.
Ali takes on a limited number of private design projects & is the central point of contact in all. With a passion for using natural materials, blending old & new into all projects, & balancing function & form, Ali creates atmospheric environments, that allow people to feel grounded, inspired & connected.
From private homes to boutique accommodation owners, Ali creates spaces that are both a retreat & a canvas for the lives they hold. Typically Ali is involved in designing the entire project from idea generation to install & completion. She is currently working on the renovation & extension of a substantial, Georgian family farmhouse in Scotland.

Product Sourcing
When Ali left the creative agency world 23 years ago, she set up initially as an antiques dealer, sourcing pieces for private homes, display furniture for leading high street retailers, & props for films.
Enticed into the world of writing & styling four years later, she continued to source both old & new finds, behind the scenes. This now plays a major role with ongoing client styling / interior design projects. It's the sourcing of extraordinary materials, fabrics, antiques, new finds & bespoke details that bring projects to life.

Art Curation
Ali is a keen art collector & believe in the power of art to transform a house into an atmospheric home.
Collections don't have to always be expensive but do they do need to feel cohesive, & to be hung well in order to create impact. She has extensive art contacts & sources both old & new artwork on a regular basis.
